When it comes time to start filling in your bench, it's best to approach it like you would your starters: Look for the most value possible with each selection, while keeping in mind the overall makeup of your team. Sometimes, the best value, particularly in the late rounds is a handcuff to one or more of your running backs. The question is, "Which backups offer enough value to warrant a roster position?"
We'll take a look at all the NFL starters and their backups, and whether they are handcuff worthy or not.

Drafting the fantasy QB position is one that is fraught with multiple theories and trains of thought. There are those fantasy owners who say it's best to pull the trigger early on one of the elite QB's, and there are others who prefer to wait and load up on RB's and WR's and take a QB in the second tier in the later rounds. There are advantages and disadvantages to both methods.
We'll take a look at the 2011 QB position to determine when it's best to add your starting QB to your lineup, and when or if you should be looking for a backup QB.

Every year there are fantasy players that slip through the cracks, and there are those that might as well have there names and pictures scrolling across a marquee in Times Square with a big flashing "Draft Me too Early!!"
Sleeping on reliable players who were either injured or are not the "big name" and over-reaching for the current crop of hyped up players can ruin a fantasy draft and set your team up for a long row to hoe during the season.
Let's take a look at some of the players that we like and dislike more than the fantasy community as a whole.

Every year during the NFL offseason and during the first few weeks of training camp, nagging injuries and career threatening injuries occur. There seems to be an increase in hamstring and achilles injuries in 2011, the former can either be minor or linger for many weeks, the latter are season ending and career threatening.
The questions that are foremost in the minds of fantasy football owners: "Who's injured?"; "How long will they be out?" and "What effect does it have on the rest of the team?"
Let's take a look at the most fantasy relevant players that are currently appearing on the official injury reports, those players entering camp after coming off IR and what their, and fellow teammates, prognosis will be for the 2011 season.

Seems like you hear it every year from at least one fantasy owner, "Man, I drew pick X in our draft this year. I hate pick X. You can't really get a good team from position X." Or, "You got the 1st pick this year? You lucky @#^&%$ you've got a huge advantage picking first!"
